Electrical stove appliance

Keep you and your tenants protected

Under the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994, if you own residential accommodation to let you must ensure any electrical equipment you supply is fully checked and tested. That's where we come in.

Our PAT testing experience lends itself to many business sectors, including:

  • Schools and colleges
  • Facilities management
  • Engineering and construction
  • Retail Shops
  • Commercial
  • Hotels and restaurants
  • Private landlords and letting agents
  • Local councils

What equipment might need to be checked?

Landlords' Electrical Certificates can cover any electrical appliance within the home, including:

  • Cookers and ovens
  • Washing machines
  • Dishwashers
  • Microwaves
  • Kettles
  • Toasters
  • TVs

If you're in the process of finding a new tenant, we strongly advise having all the equipment checked before the let commences. It's also good practice to regularly have the equipment tested during the tenancy to ensure it doesn't pose a safety hazard to your tenant or your property.
